How to Write Your Daily Post

From prompt to published — the whole rep, with a worked example

It dropped the night before. Don't overthink it — it's a door, not a test.

Example prompt
The thing that didn't work. What did you try first — before you figured out what you teach now? Name it specifically. Your audience is doing that exact thing right now, tonight.

2Write for 10 minutes — messy on purpose

Timer on. No AI, no editing, no stopping. Typos welcome. This is what 10 honest minutes actually looks like:

ok so what did I try first. discipline. that was my whole answer to everything. I bought the planner, I did the 5am thing, cold showers for a while lol. kept a habit tracker with little boxes. and I still wasn't posting, still wasn't building the business. I remember sitting in my car outside the house one night, engine off, just not going inside because I didn't want to answer "how did today go". that was the low point honestly. I thought the problem was I was lazy. everyone online said discipline discipline discipline. but the real thing was I was scared. scared of being seen trying. the shift wasn't discipline, it was realizing I wasn't lazy, I was scared. once I saw that, the work got almost easy. anyway if I could talk to that guy in the car I'd tell him — you're not behind, you just started late.

↑ unfiltered, rambling, real. Perfect. Do NOT skip to a clean draft.

3Highlight the four bricks

Read what you wrote and mark it up — the bricks are already in there. You don't write bricks. You find them.

HOOK — the specific detail EMOTION — the scene LOGIC — the belief flip CLOSE — one line to your old self

4Put them in order

Hook → Emotion → Logic → Close. Expand the scene (it's HALF the piece), trim everything else. This is ~45 seconds:

HOOK
~10%
I bought the planner, did the 5am club, took the cold showers — and still wasn't building my business.
EMOTION
HALF
One night I sat in my car outside my own house with the engine off. I didn't want to go inside, because inside somebody was going to ask "how did today go?" — and I didn't have an answer. I thought I was lazy. Every guru online agreed: discipline, discipline, discipline. But sitting there, I knew the truth. I wasn't lazy. I was scared of being seen trying.
LOGIC
~30%
The shift wasn't more discipline. It was realizing I wasn't lazy — I was scared. You can't habit-track your way out of a fear problem.
CLOSE
~10%
You're not behind. You just started late.

5Read it out loud. Edit. Refine.

Out loud — not in your head. You'll hear the dead words instantly. Two or three passes is plenty:

So basically one night I was kind of sittingOne night I sat
I think the shift was maybe realizingThe shift was realizing
Cut: basically · kind of · I think · maybe · just · so yeah Stop after the close — no "like & follow" 30–45s. Over 50 = cut words

6Record — one take

Phone. Window or light in FRONT of you One take — imperfect is believable Say the close, then stop talking

7Publish + reply to the prompt

Post it on your platform. Then reply in the thread: link + script + your 1–4 scores + tomorrow's upgrade. Then comment on your partner's piece.

The bricks are already in your writing. Your job isn't to be a writer — it's to be a finder. 10 minutes of honest writing always contains the piece. Every day, all 28 days.
